The Vinoy Renaissance St. Petersburg Resort & Golf Club, one of downtown’s exquisite treasures, has broken ground on a new restaurant that will give diners a view of the marina, Beach Drive and the hotel’s pool. Called Paul’s Landing, it will feature expansive windows with indoor and outdoor seating for 200 and will be located on what is currently the Esplanade Deck, an area that overlooks Fifth Avenue NE. The restaurant is a partnership with local craft brewery 3 Daughters Brewing. The food will be Florida-centric and is inspired by William Paul, one of the early visitors to the area where the hotel sits.

This is the second phase of a multi-year makeover of the venerable hotel. The new restaurant is scheduled to open sometime later this year in the winter.
